I shared the article about not chasing dogs, plus a write up of loss prevention techniques , on the pet lost and found page of next door. Hope that helps. We have about 2000 people on that page so hope word gets around. Your articles are great and we access some others of them on that page as well. Thank you james.
My dog-loving teen read your "calming signals" article the day before she found a lost dog on a major road, and was able to keep the dog calm and away from traffic while getting a picture that allowed the owners to find her quickly. And I shared the "what to do if your dog gets lost" article with a few neighbors who were looking for their pups, and 3/3 said the info was helpful in helping them reunite successfully. And, that same article helped us find a 4 month old puppy who was stolen from the rescue I work with. Definitely valuable info, thank you!
I shared with FB friends as well as local community groups. Snohomish Pet Chat group as well as lost and found pets on nextdoor. Calming Signals and loss prevention are the best but all the stories of individual searches are just as valuable. My personal favorite is Beba because I had personal interest in her. The kitten named Mu is heartfelt. I will remain a subscriber. Thank you for all you do.
