Tino and I took presents over to my brothers house. We were carrying packages in and they were trying to keep the cat from escaping. Eventually, the cat got out and David followed her down to the street and picked her up to bring her back in the house. As he was carrying the cat past my car, Tino poked his head out the window and barked once, right at the cat. She exploded out of David’s arms and scratched him all over. She hovered in mid air like a cartoon cat with her paws spread out and her claws pointing everywhere. Then she ran back towards the house. It took us another 10 minutes to locate her and get her back in the house. David was laughing and the cat was okay. Hopefully his wounds will heal quickly.
Raphael and Tino went to Silverton to play. The drive there was an ordeal because Tino kept trying to get in the front seat, and I had to block him with my arm, which was getting tired after 40 miles. Raphael the Ninja Turtle got a new turtle toy for Christmas. The boys chased each other all around in the snow. When Raphi got the turtle, he ran circles around T, teasing him. When Tino got the toy, he just turned away from Raph and blocked him with his body. The snow was easier to walk on in the middle of the trail, and it was about 18 inches deep on the sides. Raph kept running into the deep snow and sinking up to his chest. Then he would have to struggle out of the drift. He must have burned four times as many calories as T. Raphi slept all the way home.
